It was heartening to read in the papers about Narendra Modi being denied the Visa by US,terming him "a mass murderer"...so very right of them........people in india have been crying foul about it that an elected representative has been defamed by US.....but are we gonna defend a rascal just because he is indian...!!!! Maybe lets believe it that Modi had no direct link to the gujrat massacre...maybe itz all rumour...but how is he defending all those speeches that he made which were totally anti muslims....terming all muslims (who were also citizens of his state)as terrorists.....all his speeches and his antics added fuel to fire and further disturbed the peace after the godhra incident...atleast thatz the minimum crime that he commited.....
This has been the best decision by the Bush administration since the last 5 years...though Mr Bush should also be denied entry into any other country coz the atrocities commited by him on poor iraqi souls are still fresh in everyone's mind...

O' my bad. Modi is a rascal now. That's what 12 yrs of schooling in missionary run shcools does to your mind. I don't know if it is brain devoid of any sense of indian history or half baked intellect, but you seem to be infected by same bug of pseudo-secularism that most people on the left side of things are. Same US of A did not deny visa to any khalistani terrorist, some of whom used to proudly declare their exploits in "Rojana Ajit". To refresh your warped and selective memory, out of 900 people who died in Gujarat riots...>450 were Hindus, if that makes pseudosecular in you happy. And, >50 of those were burned alive in Godhra(by minority muslims...who are close to 150 millions and growing). 400+ died in police firing...so much for Mr. Modi having not done anything to curb riots. Imagine if Hindus had killed one muslim in pakishittan. I live in US of A and know ground realities. Believe me...only country that provides full freedom in practicing religion is India. Period. Real reason for this denial of visa is jealousy of a resurgent India. Btw, do you really believe we need US to meddle in our affairs? And no...George Bush, should never be denied visa for any country. He's, for all his faults, duly elected president of a democratic country. If he's wrong, atleast world will have to suffer him(or Mr. Modi for that matter) for 5 yrs. What about saudis and mushy's of this world? Let's wait for your blog on their rights to visit India or US of A or any country foe that matter.
Anyway, you write real good. And, don't worry, I used to be a pseudosecularist too. Now I've realised that if it is ok for an american to be "a patriot", then it's ok for an indian to be a "nationalist". Your nationalism will reasurface when you join mommy in SF.

He s the ******** of ppl I have heard in India. He is talkin bout insult at the hands of US...By chance does he remembers wht he did to the sikhs in his state. He abolished the national holiday of sikhs..Dats wht I call is open discrimination....Sucha a ppl sud be......(hope u remb me ?????????) u asked me to read dis page rite!!!
