Why we love analysing...
Ever since I have started preparing for GMAT,all the people who have an idea as to how the GMAT process works ,ask me all the time as to how much I have been scoring in the practice tests....sometimes out of concern but mostly out of curiosity...I think v love statistics...The practice tests of GMAT remind me of all the Exit polls of elections which predict as to which party will win and which won't....Just as the pollsters and news analysts compare various bar graphs ...similar is the process of these practice tests where I always look forward to analysing my performance as to which section I am doing good at and which section i am lagging behind..... one major drawback of preparing for such exams is that now i know that most of the sentences that i write have major errors...I know that there are errors in my sentences but I can only correct them when i am given 5 choices! ......and regarding my prepration.....I think for such tests there is a level upto which u can prepare as these tests r a true reflection of ur IQ....once u reach that level...itz very difficult to improve....and i think i reached that level few days back.....anyways....the good part is that I already know that i am not gonna score as well as i initially thought i would... so now in a way i am prepared for a poor score....now that i am not making much sense I definitely need to stop writing for today!
