Mausam did you follow the story of S.Manjunath? http://www.newkerala.com/news.php?action=fullnews&id=56503 .This fellow graduated from IIM and then joined Indian Oil Corporation. He raided a few Petrol Stations and sealed them because they were not complying with the regulations and were selling adulterated fuel. The owner of one such Petrol station killed the poor fellow, just because Mr Manjunath did his duty.Remember Mr Satyendra Dubey? That guy had written a letter to PMO about irregularities in the construction of Golden Quadrilateral project(Mr Vajpayee's favourite project) and requested the PMO not to tell this to anyone. He was shot dead few days later. The case is still lingering in the courts.Checkout http://www.skdubeyfoundation.org/newsitems/archives/golden_quadrilateral/index.php
The death of these "Few Good Men" reminds me of Bihar elections.Laloo finally lost!
Everybody is so very hopeful of Nitish Kumar , but going by the track record of Indian politicians not much will change. "saareh ikko thaali de chattey-battey hai"
Amrinder was no better than Badal,Karunanidhi was no better than Jayalalita. Mufti Mohammed Sayeed did'nt turn things around after Farookh Abdullah,to name a few. Still hopefully this script will change in Bihar.Considering nothing worse can happen to Bihar anymore, thanks to Lallu
Regards,
Ajj Kaim
