the racist in all of us

Dear Mausam,
Couple of days back i saw the movie "Crash", it was a pleasant surprise as i didnt expected the movie to be as good as it was. Though the movie was set on the streets of Los Angeles but I thought the kind of racism depicted in the movie is prevelant everywhere in the world(specially in india). I have never got a chance to interact with muslims in close proximity, even now I do'nt really know any muslims but whenever I see some muslim people on the streets of delhi the first image that comes to my mind is that of Muslim extremists, why this happens......I have no idea!
How often we bias and ridicule the biharis and UP bhaiyas in punjab. We consider Punjab to be our own and dont ever welcome any UPite,Bihari,Madrasi,Nepali,Gujjar's invasion though we punjabiz travel far and wide and settle in every nick and corner of the world, and expect the others to be peace loving and non-racist.Double standards.
The Oscar ceremony was held few hours back and Crash won the Oscar for best picture, you also watch it maybe you will try to think of removing such prejudices from your mind, just like I am
Regards,
Ajj Kaim
