Living in California

2nd day running I am writing a blog, how awesome is that! Woohoo!

I can't believe I am in 2013. It has been 3 and a half years since I have been in California. And for at least 3 years I thought that my stay in California is short lived and I would move out of here coz of work. I am glad that didn't happen and I found a role in the Bay Area itself.

I am curious to know how this decision of mine with play out in the years to come. After all California is the most expensive state in the US and popular wisdom says that it makes sense to move to Texas which has zero state taxes and living expenses are far less. At this point I am happy being in California thanks to the circle of friends, family that I have. For some reason Bay Area feels like home, it always does.

I look forward to reading this post in a few years.
