B 'n B --- movie review

Just came bac after watching first day first show of Bunty and Bubbly...starring amitabh,abhishek and rani mukherji.The expectation from the movie was sky high coz of the slick promotional campaign of the movie. The promos had built up the hype about the movie really well..... Somehow when u expect too much...even good work dos'nt seem all that great.....and i think thatz the problem with Bunty and Bubbly...
The first half is very slow.....and therez nothing great abt it....and the story goes nowhere....it just seems as the continuation of all that has already been shown in the promos... The start of the 2nd half also drags for a while....itz the latter part of the 2nd half that the movie grabs the audiences attention..... Abhishek and Rani have acted really well.....and Amitabh was at his usual best.... Aishwarya makes a guest appearance in a racy dance number and she looks absolutely HOT....the songs r good too....(the rap songs picturised on amitabh has amazing beats and it appears in the end)..... the supporting cast has acted well... Rani mukherji tries to fake punjabi accent which aint impressive....she uses the popular abuse "bhain da takka" umpteen times...(the audience enjoyed it when she used to say that).... Verdict--- a watchable flick but dont expect too much...the promos were better!
